Finding My Safe Haven

For the past year I felt like i was in thee middle of a ocean , 

nowhere near shore 

Living at my aunt and uncle's house I didn't feel at peace 

6 months of confusing 

 I felt like I was always walking on egg shells 

It never felt like home 

And when my uncle decided to kick us out it was shocking but in a way a relief 

 Thankfully I had amazing friends that let me stay with them until I was able to find my own place 

My safe haven 

  I love my one bedroom apartment . 

Its just for me .

I'm at peace 

I'm happy 

I'm free to do what I want when I please 

My apartment is my safe haven 

My own little world 

No negative energy is allowed in 

Just love and happiness 

I'm finally home .
