November Goals


Its November already, the year is almost over ! 

My goals this month are going to take a lot of planning. 
I just need to get them started so I won't be rushing at the last minute 

 1. Start Christmas Shopping 
I only have 2 people possibly 3 ( if we do Secret Santa at work this year) to shop for this year 
I have some what of an idea of what I want to do for them its just gonna be a little time consuming . 

2. Thanksgiving Prep
Because of my work schedule I will be having my thanksgiving dinner on Black Friday . 
But I need to start shopping for all the ingredients I need to have a yummy dinner
 ( Menu coming soon )

3. Fashion Post 
I want to do a fashion post on my blog this month I just need to find the time to set up the session to get some great pics.

4 . Plan Christmas Series 
25 days of Christmas . A post everyday leading up to Christmas if  I start now I know I can get them all taken care of. 

5. Keep Track Of Meal
I have a weight loss happy planner , planner that I barely write in but I want to stay on track with keeping up with  my meals. 

6. Start Planning 2018 Blog
I have a new vision for PIB next year and I have so many things to get done before then I can't wait for you all to see them .

15 Ways To De-Stress

Sometimes we let life get in the way and we get overwhelmed with our daily lives.
Sometimes we need to stop and take care of ourselves
Here our some things I do to help with my stress

1. Pray
A talk with God always makes me feel better .
2.Turn Off Your Phone
Sometimes you need time to clear your head and need time to just gather your thoughts . I sometimes turn my phone off or on silent for a hour or two to collect myself 
3. Treat Yourself
There is nothing wrong with a little retail therapy to 
4. Listen to music
Laying back and vibe out to music help me relax 
5. Cook
Sometimes good food helps and focusing on a recipe will get your mind off the stress
6. Watch Your Favorite Movie or Television Show
Gilmore Girls and Grey's Anatomy are my go to shows
7. Exercise
Letting your frustrations out in a workout . Go for a run and clear your head.
8. Take A Bath
Grab your favorite bath bomb and some bath bombs
9. Talk To A Good Friend
Having someone to talk out your problem and to vent to help ( talk to a understanding person ,
someone who isn't gonna judge you) 
10.Read A Book
Grab a good book book and a cup of tea and escape into a book 
11. Dance It Out ( Grey's Anatomy Phrase)
Like Meredith and Christina  would do sometimes you have to blast music and dance your problems away. 
12. Go For A Walk
Take time to see whats going on in the world and walk around town .
13. Take A Nap
Resting and finally get some sleep will allow you wake up with a fresh mind
14. Write
I love to write out my problems and leave them on the paper 
15. Get A Massage
Releasing all the tensions from your body from a good  massage will leave you feeling refreshed .

October Goals



It's my birthday month !
I'm so excited for the events I have planned this year 

1. Be Healthy 
My weight loss has been struggle but I'm not giving up . I want to increase my water intake this month and continue to cut more junk out my meals. 

2. Daily Devotional 
I want to get back to my daily devotional , taking more time in my day to spend with God. 
Shutting out the world and growing closer to God .

3. Have A Fun Birthday 
I always stress over my birthday or just end up in bed and watch Netflix 
This year I want to go with the flow and spend time with my friends 

4. Grow My Socials 
I want to grow my social media platforms and be more active 

5. Stay Organized
I can be messy at times. I want to stay more organized 

6. Focus On Me 
This may sound really selfish but sometimes I feel I give so much to others and leave nothing for myself and I want to make myself a priority again .

Harry Potter Marathon

After a long week at work it was great to unwind with with friends .
My fellow Potter Heads and I set out on a mission to complete the series . 


We had so much fun laughing and talking.
Even though I was on Snapchat I kept to myself this weekend. 
I wanted to be in the moment . 




Depression is a scary thing and its been taking over my life lately.
My days have been work and home ( in bed) 
I haven't been feeling like myself lately .
 I just needed time to stop and let God take control . 


I needed to be surrounded my positivity and happiness .
I know people may think its weird but watching Harry Potter makes me happy. 
It takes me back to the good ole days. 


I use to watch Harry Potter all the time with my mother
It was a family thing 
 And this weekend reminded me of that 



Good food , good conversations and of course Harry Potter made things feel great 



It felt good to not have to deal with the outside world 
No Drama
Just peace and fun



Now its time for some much needed rest .
I feel so prepared for the week 
Now time for a talk with God and a good night's rest.

Rock Bottom

I'm scared
Today I'm sitting at 362 pounds .
By the grace of god I don't have any major health issues .
I've lost control of myself . 
I've let depression and anxiety take over my life and now I'm at my highest weight.
 I can't let this continue.
I cant continue to eat all the wrong things . 
I can't continue not being active . 
I need to make some major changes .
 And they have to start today .
 I want to be a mother one day and that's gonna be impossible or difficult to do with all this weight . I need to lose this weight for myself . It's a shame I can't walk to end of the block without feeling like I'm dying .
 I'm tired of this .
Today is my fresh start .
I've thrown out all the junk for my house and I'm creating a new Brittany now .

I pray this time will be the time I can finally make this work and lose all this weight .

Eat , Pray , Love


Lately I've been thinking about taking a trip alone . 
I don't know where yet but I need it .
I just want to relax , get pampered and not have a care in the world 

Traveling with friends would be fun but sometimes I just want to be alone. 
I want time to regroup and have one on one time with the Lord .

Ive been trying to take one day month to turn my phone volume down low and destress .
Sometimes I don't want hear about the latest drama from friends ( I hope that doesn't make me a bad friend ) . 
Just a day for me . 
A day to stay in bed , watch movies and order in food . 

Everyone deserves time to themselves 

I'm scared to leave the country alone but I see a nice spa weekend coming up for myself soon .

After this break up its time to get back to me . 
After giving my all to someone for almost 2 years I was left with nothing emotionally . 

It feels good to working on a better version of myself .

DIY LAUNDRY DETERGENT

Spring has come and I've been all about DIY household products.
 I wanted to try something new and why not save money in the process.
 So I've looking for ways to make alternative products.
Lately I've been trying a DIY detergent for my clothes 

Something that leaves my clothes smelling fresh but not an over powering fragrance . 
All you need to make it is : mason jar ( or any container with a lid )
Zote ( a bar laundry soap that can be found in the laundry detergent aisle for under a $1 )
Baking soda and a  cheese grater

I like to grate the zote 

Mixing zote and baking soda is easy . 

I like to do it in layers then shake it all together ( once the lid is on )

For a full load all your need a 2 tablespoons. 
For work clothes, children play clothes I would add a little more , but a little goes a long way .

I'm so in love with this detergent

May Goals


April Review
1. 1200 calories was a fail but I have kept my calories low 
2. I never realized how much I missed dancing until I started again. I will be continuing dancing maybe in the future I'll post a video on my youtube channel
3. Staying organized  has been great I've been great at decluttering my life and staying organized 
4. I failed and bought planner stickers . One of the store I've always had my eyes on ( Willow Fields ) had a 50% off sale and I had to jump on that . 
5. I haven't picked a herb I want to plant yet
6. Spanish has been so fun to learn.

Now time for my May Goals


May Goals 

1. 50 to 100 squats per day . I need a round booty 
2. Have fun at Anime Central .Last year I got really sick the day before it started and didn't get better until i got back home . I'm praying that doesn't happen again 
3. Start saving for my birthday trip . I still need to pick a location
Nashville / Miami/ Las Vegas 
4. Change my hair color . I need to spice my hair up and try something new 
5. 1 Gallon of water per . I need to flush out my system and stay properly hydrated

My Weekend With My Bestie

My weekend has been so amazing
My friend  Angelique from back home came into town to visit Friday night
First things first we made a store run for our weekend supplies 

There is nothing like good food and drinks wth my friend
Friday was a low key night just catching  up and yummy food

Saturday was fun slept in and woke ready for a fun day 



We did some shopping in town wait on my brother to get out of class before we did the real shopping 
Living in the middle of nowhere we had to take an hour long drive to get to a good mall 
Shopping is Angelique and I favorite pass time .

With her getting ready for a trip to Las Vegas and I getting things for Anime Central had a little of things we needed . 
Dont forget the coupons ( especially at Michaels )


After all that shopping we needed to refuel before the long ride home . 

I made jello shots for the first time and they turned out perfectly

 Saturday night was another chill night in the house watching Hidden figures and eating some amazing rotel dip . 

Though this trip was short and sweet it was exactly what I needed 
A weekend escape but we will be reunited in a month I can't wait

Birthday Weight-Loss Challenge

I want to challenge myself and workout everyday until my birthday 
Thats 191 days none stop working out  
In 191 day I will be 28 years old
Its time for a major change
In a perfect world I would love to lose a pound per day but I know it's not realistic .




I loved this dress I bought it in hopes to fit into it soon hopefully I will
Weighing in today at 355 lbs

Im excited for a new journey in my life
I want to be healthy and more active
Im doing this myself and my happiness
In the past I was losing weight for all the wrong reasons.
Losing weight has always been a struggle for me .
 For years I've started and stopped diets .
 Signed up for gyms and would go and waste my money month after month .
 Growing up I attempted to lose weight to get guys or to finally stop being bullied but with all that stress all I did was stress eat .
 I would try to lose weight  because everyone told me I need to .
I finally reached a place in my life that I'm ready for a healthier lifestyle .
 I can't remember what it feel like to simple walk around the block without feeling winded . 
I want a whole new life .
 I've been making some major changes in my life to reach my goals .
 Changing the food I eat the vitamins I take and how I move ( exercising)
I can't wait to see where the new life takes .

April Goals

Happy April !


I'm excited for this month . Im excited for green grass and blooming flowers 
I have so many things planned for now til the end of the summer and beyond. 

1. 1200 Calories A Day 
I have a dress to wear next month to a friends wedding . It fits a little tight and I know losing weight will make me feel comfortable in my dress . 
2. Dance 
I miss dancing I use to take dance classes growing up and took some on my college campus also . Its a really good way to relieve stress and lose weight 
3. Stay Organized 
I see some major decluttering coming my way I've been in a throwing away mood. Getting rid of stuff I don't need or use anymore
4. No Spend 
Besides groceries , bills and needed items no extra spending for me . Which is gonna hurt because I know there will be a planner sticker sale soon 
5. Plant Flowers and Herbs
6. Learn Spanish
I would love to hold a whole conversation in Spanish with someone

Year Of Me : The First Weigh In


Weighing in at almost 350 lbs bothers me . 

I find doing the simplest things hard. 
Walking up stairs or just walking up the street I'm always out of breath . 
Now don't get me wrong I'm very comfortable in my own skin but its time for change.
I want to be more healthier 
I'm not trying to be the size society wants me to be 
But I know I can be in a way healthier place than I am in now . 

So I'm going to switch up my eating habits 
Get back to working out on a regular 

I know losing this weight wont happen overnight but I'm willing to work on it on a daily . 

I'm ready for some major changes in my life .
I will be keeping you posted on here and in-between

February Goals

January Recap

1. I didn't lose the 5 lbs Ive haven't been eating the way I should and I'm extremely disappointed in myself 
2. Skincare has been getting really good . I love how my skin is starting to look 
3. No pop and juice went out the window . 
4. I have been using my social media even more and I remember how much fun I use to have with it . 

February Goals

1. Read 3 books - I already have them set aside and ready to read
2. Complete 14 Days Of Love - I will be posting a new blog post everyday until Valentine's Day

3.See 50 Shades Darker in theaters . I never got to see 50 Shades Of Grey in theaters I have to see this one 
4.Prep March blogpost
5. Workout 3 days a week/ 1 hour
6. Keep my hair in a protective style
7. Take more original pictures for my blog . ( That was the whole point of me buying a DSLR camera)

January Goals

Were almost two weeks into the new year and so far so good. 
I still wanted to share my goal my goal for the month

1. Lose 5 lbs
I know its a small goal but I also know it will give me more motivation to beat that goal the end of the month I didn't want want to give myself an impossible number like 20 lbs to later to be disappointed .  Start Weight : 348.6

2. Daily Skincare
I'm totally bad at keeping up with my day to day skin care routine. I want more healthy and bright skin

3. No more pop or juice.
I will be drinking water and tea and my morning smoothie . Thats it . 

4. Be more active on my social media platforms
 The only way to grow my follower count is be active and post quality things . Ive been lazy when it comes to posting .


This month is short and simple
